Carpet Remnants are such a fan favorite among our customers at The Carpet Workroom, so one of the most frequently asked questions is “How often do you get new remnants?”
As a reminder, carpet remnants are extra pieces of broadloom carpet, typically not the size of a full roll, but can be made into any size and bound however you’d like. The Carpet Workroom stocks many remnant pieces, both small and large, in both of our workrooms in Needham and Avon. We consider our remnant inventory something that sets us apart from other carpet and rug manufacturers because of the variety, flexibility, and price that they provide.
In terms of price, many are materials that are typically $15-$20/square foot when purchased on the roll which are priced as low as $3-$8 square foot as remnants. We love it when customers are able to utilize these pieces for non-standard sizes, stair runners, or wall to wall installations.
Here is a recent project we installed on stairs that used carpet remnants we had in the showroom. This customer was able to get a stunning stair runner at a fraction of the cost because of it!
Back to the main question, how often do we get new carpet remnants? While we’re not always able to predict when new rolls will become available to us, we often receive some new pieces weekly, with bigger shipments coming in every few months or so.
We just got a large shipment in of some beautiful and unique pieces, some of which are featured below. If you have any interest in finding out more about sizing, pricing, or possible projects to use these, feel free to comment here, give us a call at 781-844-4912, shoot us an email at info@carpetworkroom.com, or fill out a form on our website. We also feature some of our remnants here!
