About The Carpet Workroom


Our mission is to help transform your house into a home, plain and simple. Woven textiles have been used to comfort and decorate dwellings since the dawn of time. With each generation comes a new fashion or style, even the manufacturing technology evolves. What’s remained constant, though, is that there is a craftsman whose hands created that carpet or rug out of a series of yarns. You can sell all the carpet in the world, but if you can’t fit it properly then you have nothing. We are here to ensure that the quality and artistry of the carpet are not forgotten. Your home deserves it.



For our ongoing efforts to divert carpet from landfills. We carry and promote natural and renewable materials like wool, sisal, jute, and tencel. We keep local stock of carpet remnants that would otherwise be discarded. Even the synthetic products we carry are made from recycled materials or are highly recyclable. In an industry known to produce waste, we do our best to reduce it.


Thank you for considering The Carpet Workroom for your carpet or rug project. It is our goal to work with you to provide the highest quality products and services at the lowest possible price. When materials are purchased through The Carpet Workroom you are investing in a family business that guarantees its best effort in all projects, big or small. Every unique project has its own unique process that we will approach together as a team. We are in this together.

That said, we do offer some guarantees for the products that we sell and the services we offer:


Broadloom Carpet Warranties:
We stand by each manufacturer that we choose to carry in our store. Every one has its own list of warranties for the products that they offer. All of this information will be made available during the sales process. Because we cannot control the quality of the materials that are purchased through The Carpet Workroom, we cannot offer additional warranties on top of what is offered by the manufacturer.
What we can guarantee is that if there are any manufacturer defects or imperfections with the materials purchased through The Carpet Workroom, we will work quickly and arduously with you through the claims process.

Area Rugs & Runners Warranties:
If your project requires the fabrication of raw materials purchased from the mill, we guarantee the craftsmanship will meet your standards. If it does not, we will do our best to rectify the issue in a timely manner.


We guarantee our installation for the reasonable life of the carpet. These materials do have a shelf life that could range from 2 to 15 years based on the type of material that you have purchased. Each unique product in each unique setting will react differently. Environmental factors, including but not limited to – pets, children, vacuums, moisture, chemicals (road salt & sand), etc – could all lead to the accelerated wear of your material. Therefore, each individual complaint will be handled uniquely.
If you are unhappy with the quality of services provided, we will come back to address the issue free of charge and in a timely manner so long as it is determined that the issue falls under “reasonable wear”.
If your issue is determined to have been caused by one of the environmental factors listed above, we will offer our repair services at a discounted rate.

  • We do not move items we determine are unwieldy or dangerous. Such items may include but are not limited to fish tanks, waterbeds, guns, pool tables, pianos, and armoires.
  • Please strip beds of sheets and linens. Empty china cabinets, refrigerators, bookshelves, drawers, etc.
  • We do not move items that are fixed to the floors, walls, or ceilings. Please remove all photos and frames from the space.
  • Our installers do not unhook or reconnect any electrical equipment.
  • Our installers do not unhook or reconnect any appliances that are hardwired. You will need to hire an
    electrician to do so.
  • Our installers do not unhook or reconnect gas stoves, toilets, ice makers, washers, or dryers. You will need to hire a plumber or other contractor for this work.
  • An adult 18 or older must be present to let our installers in upon arrival.
  • If you will not be home, we will need cell phone access to reach you in the event something comes up
    during the installation.
  • Removal and disposal of existing material is not included unless specified on the work order.
  • We will do our best to divert your material from landfills but we cannot guarantee that it’s recycled.
  • There are many ways to install carpet on stairs; runner, wall to wall, Hollywood style, or waterfall. Be sure to discuss with your salesperson the method you’d like to choose. If the method of installation is
    not specified on the work order, we will choose the best option per our discretion.
  • It is best to discuss every detail with the sales staff before the installation or be present during the installation to discuss all details with the installation team.
  • We guarantee professionally constructed, durable seams. Professionally constructed seams are not invisible ones. There are many factors affecting whether a seam would be visible or not; lighting, thickness of material, type of material, and pattern. If you’re ever unsatisfied with the seam, there’s a good chance it can be improved.
  • Door cutting is not included in your quote and not offered by our installers.
  • Please remove all closets from their tracks.
  • Please inform the installers about any unseen wires or heating units under the floor.
  • Some scratching may occur on baseboards as part of the installation process. Touch up is the
    homeowner’s responsibility.
  • Products made from natural or woven materials have natural variations. These are not defects but charming flaws inherent to this type of product.
  • Although rare, we do run into situations that there are clear defects. We make best efforts to see these during our inspection process but some flaws slip by. Should we determine that there is some type of defect, we will work on your behalf to initiate a claim with the manufacturer. This may require a 3rd party inspector to come an to investigate the issue further.
  • Our installers are expected to clean up and remove all trash. We will leave the space cleaned to the best of our ability. If there’s any usable material left, we’ll leave it in a visible area for future use. If you’d like to take advantage of our binding services, we do offer discounts for returning customers and remnant binding.
  • Once you schedule an installation, it must be cancelled before 12pm on the previous business day.
  • A $50 fee will be charged for a late installation.

If you are unable to do so, please call the main office to inform us of the issue you are facing. That number is (888) 388-9238 ext 1. From there, someone will respond to help determine the best course of action to address the issue.
