Trendy Area Rugs: Are You a Trendsetter?

Trendy Area Rugs

One of the year’s biggest trends; layered area rugs. This hot design trend is popping up in rooms everywhere. If you want to become a trendsetter, there are a few things to remember. When it comes to layering on a hard wood floor, allow at least 12-18 inches of space on all sides so that the contrast between the rugs can be seen. At times though, one rug simply won’t do. All you have to do is add several with the same pattern or color family. Keep in mind, leaving the larger rug neutral is key. Sisal is the perfect first layer but also, a softer rug works just as well. By doing this, your room will quickly become completely unique and one of a kind.
