“I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.” -Audrey Hepburn
Pink is my absolute favorite color. You hear “I’m feeling blue or green with envy” but with pink though, you hear “pretty in pink or tickled pink”. How can you not love it?! What I love most is that it has so many different personalities. There are numerous ways to use pink in interior design. Powder pink can be seen as calming, whereas pink and navy blue suggests a more nautical feel. I’ve never met a pink I didn’t like. It brings a freshness to any setting. Light pink and grey is a combo that needs to be called to everyone’s attention. Grey is one of the hottest colors right now (in both fashion and interior design). When it is matched up with pink, it is both classic and modern. Including grey also helps to avoid looking overly romantic but you have keep both colors simple and clean. If you’re feeling saucy, a pink wall adds just the right amount of excitement! Here is a wool remnant we recently fabricated and installed that paired perfectly with pink.
