Briana and Ali from our sales team both recently completed interior design programs and are ready to put their knowledge into action! Earlier this year, we began offering design consults, realizing that many of our customers come in with multiple projects that require a more strategic approach to carpet selection.
Many wonder what to expect with a design consult, and we can approach it a few different ways. Briana and Ali normally like to get an idea of your needs prior to visiting your home, that way they can start brainstorming ideas and potentially bring samples to test out in your space. If you have furniture or decor swatches that you would like to coordinate with, those are very helpful to ensure that the samples Briana and Ali choose are complimentary. From here, whomever of the two you coordinate with will come by to test the samples out in person, allowing for a deeper discussion around your space. Whether you love a few options or want to see more of a certain aspect of others (in terms of pattern, style, color), Briana and Ali can then go back to the showroom and be able to direct you to the best options for your space. If you enjoy working with us and want more out of the experience, Briana and Ali are open to discussing further design services with you and can coordinate with you separately.
Here are some things to think about prior to a design consult:
– What style do I want to bring in to my space?
– Do I want to coordinate this rug or carpeting with any other areas in my home?
– What colors do I love and what colors do I hate?
– Do I like pattern, and if so, do I like stripes, geometric, floral, etc?
– Is carpet material important to me? (Wool vs. synthetic.)
– What is my budget?
