Unique Carpet

Oscar-Claude Monet  was a founder of French impressionist painting. The term “Impressionism” derives from the title of his painting Impression, soleil levant, which translates to Impression, Sunrise. Impressionist painting characteristics include  relatively small, thin, yet visible open brush strokes. There is an emphasis on never ending movement and different lighting. The more unusual the angles, the better. What is the reason for this mini art history lesson? We recently installed a Bellbridge carpet that was named Monet! As you can see in the pictures below, there are a few shades of grey and the pattern gives off a water vibe (many of Monet ‘s work consists of nature scenes). For those of you who don’t know me well, I am always on the hunt for unique things…this includes unique carpet!
